I graduated from Tyler Junior College in 1997 and immediately began my nursing career in the field of Dermatology, which led to my love of facial injectables. I think of it as an art.
I love getting to know my clients and I take pride in providing them with the best treatment options available. Depend on me to provide honest information and advice regarding your skin care and anti-aging goals.
Some of my favorite products include Botox®, Juvederm®, and Radiesse®. These products are safe and provide an affordable alternative to surgery.
My passion for skincare started at a young age as I watched my mother care for her beautiful complexion. She instilled in me the importance of taking care of my skin, so during my early teen years, I started staying out of the sun and using anti-aging products. I truly believe consistent use of a daily skin care regimen is the cornerstone to having beautiful skin and aging well.
I did not set out to be a nurse injector. I received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nutrition from the University of Kentucky and planned to be a dietitian. However, life had other plans. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2004, and I spent years out of the workforce caring for him. When it was time to start working again, I decided to pursue my passion. I enrolled in nursing school with the aim of becoming an aesthetic nurse injector. Graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016, I started at Melange soon after. I enjoy building relationships with clients and helping them to fulfill their skin and anti-aging goals.
Some of my favorite products are Jan Marini CleanZyme cleanser, Bioglycolic cleanser and SkinZyme mask, I use these nearly everyday to keep my complexion smooth and bright. My favorite anti-aging procedures are botox, VIVA skin resurfacing, skinpen, and chemical peels.
I have always had a love for all things beauty related. When I was young, I often dreamt of working in the beauty and skincare industry. And I had quickly realized that good skincare was the true foundation for beautiful results, with or without make-up.
I studied Esthetics at the Ogle School of hair, skin, and nails in Dallas obtaining my Esthetician license in 2005. I began my career in medical aesthetics working for one of the premier dermatologist centers in Dallas. That opportunity allowed me to combine my passion for helping people while gaining important knowledge in all aspects of skin health, skincare, and cosmetic procedures. All while performing various facials, beauty, and other skincare services.
The esthetics field is exciting to me because its constantly changing and evolving. I enjoy meeting and maintaining client relationships and as a self-professed “beauty junkie”, I continue to search for the best in unique and must-have beauty services.
When I am not doing someone’s makeup or an at home beauty treatment for myself, I am spending time with my husband, son and daughter as well as our extended families. I love decorating our home, party planning, and trying new recipes…all fueled by my Pinterest habit.
I feel fortunate to have a profession that I truly enjoy whether it’s a treatment that helps a client relax or a treatment that gives you much needed confidence.
