BOTOX®/DYSPORT® is both corrective AND preventive, so I generally advise clients to begin treatment sooner rather than later, to prevent the wrinkles from becoming deeper and more pronounced. We take a more conservative approach to how much is given initially because you can always add more but you can’t take it out! A 2-week follow-up appointment is recommended for optimal results.

JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC injectable gel is for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines (lines around the mouth), often called lipstick lines, vertical lip lines, or lip wrinkles in adults over the age of 21.

JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC lasts up to 1 year, with optimal treatment.
The most common side effects included temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching. Side effects were mild or moderate (uncomfortable) and generally lasted 30 days or less.

JUVÉDERM® VOLBELLA® XC is a crystal-clear gel that is injected directly into and around the lips using an ultra-fine needle to temporarily plump the lips for lip augmentation and to smooth the appearance of lines around the mouth. The lidocaine gel improves the comfort of the injection by reducing sensitivity to pain.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA® XC provides natural-looking and long-lasting results that last up to 2 years with optimal treatment.  The amount of syringes needed varies by individual. The most common side effects included temporary reactions at the treatment site such as tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching. Side effects were moderate (uncomfortable), and generally lasted 2 to 4 weeks. As with all skin injection procedures, there is a risk of infection.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC is an injectable gel that temporarily adds more fullness and plumps thin lips—whether your lips have thinned over time, or you simply want fuller lips—in adults over the age of 21.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC lasts up to one year, with optimal treatment.

First approved by the FDA in 2006, JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the parentheses lines or smile/laugh lines around the nose and mouth, also known as nasolabial folds. JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC is injected into areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur to temporarily add volume to the skin, which may give the appearance of a smoother surface.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC lasts up to one year with optimal treatment.

The most reported side effects of JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC injectable gels were temporary injection-site redness, swelling, pain/tenderness, firmness, lumps/bumps, bruising, itching, and discoloration. They were predominantly mild or moderate in nature and lasted 7 days or less.

JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC is injected into the areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the parentheses lines or "smile/laugh lines" around the nose and mouth—also known as nasolabial folds—as well as deep lines that extend from the corners of the mouth to the chin—also known as marionette lines—occur.
Nasolabial folds are the deep lines and wrinkles that extend from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth.

JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC is designed to temporarily correct facial wrinkles for a smoother appearance to the face for adults over the age of 21. 

The clinical study demonstrated JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE® XC can last up to 18 months with optimal treatment.  The most common side effects included firmness, swelling, tenderness to touch, lumps/bumps, redness, pain, bruising, itching, and discoloration at the injection site. These side effects were usually mild or moderate in nature (causing little to some discomfort and impact on daily activities) and lasted 14 days or less.

What to expect during your treatment
Multiple microdroplet injections—where a tiny amount of product is injected just below the skin—are performed on each cheek by a specialist.

• During your appointment, your licensed specialist should explain the procedure and provide after-care directions.

• Lidocaine, a common pain reliever (you get it at the dentist), is an ingredient in SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® to keep you comfortable.

• Minimize strenuous exercise, exposure to extensive sun or heat, and alcoholic beverages within the first 24 hours following treatment.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC is an injectable gel designed to improve jawline definition in patients with moderate to severe loss of jawline definition. Adding volume to improve the shape and structure of the lower face helps provide smooth, long-lasting definition in the jawline for adults over 21 years of age.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC lasts up to 1 year, with optimal treatment.
